How much does a consult cost?
Our initial consults cost $29. This includes a 20-minute appointment with a doctor. You’ll receive a full refund if your doctor decides that Natural Medicine isn’t right for you.
Are Aleafiate consults telehealth or face-to-face?
As a fully online Natural Medicine clinic, all consults are done via telehealth, at a time convenient to you.
Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral to see an Aleafiate doctor. Simply complete the 30-second pre-screening form to check if you might be eligible for Natural Medicine and then book an appointment.
How long will it take to receive my scripts?
If our doctors think you could benefit from Natural Medicine, you will receive your script one hour after your consultation via sms or email for you to take to your pharmacy.
Is there a minimum age for a consult?
You must be 18 years or older to book a consultation. Under TGA guidelines, patients under 18 can only access Natural Medicine under the guidance of a specialist. If you are seeking Natural Medicine treatment for your child, we recommend you speak to your regular GP.
What brand and formulation will I be prescribed?
Aleafiate doctors are complete agnostic. This means they are not restricted in what they can prescribe to you and will create a personalised treatment plan based on your medical history, condition and previous experience with Natural Medicine.
What is a Natural Medicine Authorised Prescriber?
In Australia, any doctor is legally allowed to prescribe Natural Medicine. However, in Australia the majority of prescriptions are issued by Authorised Prescribers (APs). These are doctors that have applied to the TGA for special dispensation to prescribe Natural Medicine to patients in specific circumstances. APs are able to issue prescriptions without making individual applications, reducing the administrative burden and resulting in faster medicine delivery. All of our doctors are Authorised Prescribers.
